Three services
The right service
for each watch.
Verge Atelier offers three clearly defined services — each with a published price, a written scope and plain notes on completion. Which one suits a particular watch is a conversation we are happy to have.
Back to HomeOur methodology
How the work is approached
Every watch that arrives at Verge Atelier begins with the same step: it is looked at carefully and the owner is given an honest description of its condition. Only then is a service agreed.
This sequence matters. Watch servicing done without a proper initial review tends to produce outcomes that disappoint — either because the scope was too narrow, or because the wrong work was done on a piece that needed something different. The review is not a formality; it informs everything that follows.
At the end of every service, the owner receives written notes in plain language. For restoration work, photographs taken at each stage accompany these notes. The aim is that the owner leaves with a clear and complete account of what was done to their watch.
Review and conversation
The watch is examined and the owner is given a plain summary of what was found before any decision is made.
Agreed scope in writing
The service, its price and any known variables are set out clearly and agreed with the owner before work starts.
Careful, unhurried work
Work proceeds at the pace the watch requires. For restoration projects, photographs are taken throughout.
Final check and collection
The finished watch is checked against the agreed scope and handed back with written notes — and images where applicable.

Across all services
Standards that apply to every job
Secure watch handling
Every watch is logged on arrival and kept in an individual secure location within the studio until collection.
Owner informed at each stage
If anything unexpected comes to light during work, we stop and contact the owner before continuing. No work outside the agreed scope proceeds without a conversation.
Movement-appropriate tools
Each calibre is worked on with tools suited to its type. We do not substitute or improvise where proper instruments are needed.
Personal data used only for the job
Contact details provided by owners are used solely to communicate about the current watch. They are not shared or retained beyond what is necessary.
Pre-collection quality check
The finished watch is checked against the agreed scope before handback. Any shortfalls are addressed before the owner is called.
Plain language documentation
Written notes are provided in plain language — not technical summaries. The owner understands what was found and what was done, without needing a watchmaking background.
Published prices
No estimates, no ranges
Each service has a single published price. Prices are in Thai Baht. If additional work comes to light during a service, it is always discussed and agreed before proceeding.
